My guest on the 10/10/24 “Theatre Thursday” segment on The Drive on 95.5 was Nikko Kimzin, founder of Kimzin Creative and developer of the Kimzin Creative BIPOC Producers Lab in collaboration with Creative Sonoma. The lab is an innovative, nine-month professional development program designed to foster the growth and success of two emerging Sonoma County-based BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) producers. Both emerging producers selected will receive a $1,500 a month stipend ($13,500 total) to support their participation. Listen to find out more and how to apply. Applications are being accepted through October 15.
Nikko also previewed an upcoming production by a collaboration of three local theatre artists/companies. Midsummer will play in mid-November at The California.
