With PG&E suspending power service through much of the North Bay, the Kincade Fire raging through northern Sonoma County, and multiple communities under a mandatory evacuation order, most North Bay theatre companies have cancelled their weekend performances in the interest of their patrons’ and artists’ safety.
Here is the current status of all North Bay shows as of 11:45 am, Sunday, October 27:Â
Cloverdale: Cloverdale Performing Arts Center’s Season Announcement Gala event postponed till further notice
Healdsburg: Raven Players weekend performances of The Laramie Project cancelled
Napa: Lucky Penny’s One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest still running
*Novato: Theatre-at-Large/Novato Theater Company’s Sunday performance of Sweeney Todd cancelled.
*Petaluma: Cinnabar Theater’s Sunday closing performance of Luna Gale cancelled.
Rohnert Park: Spreckels Theatre Company closing performances of A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder cancelled
*San Anselmo: Marin Musical Theatre Company’s Sunday performance of The Rocky Horror Show cancelled
Santa Rosa: Left Edge Theatre’s weekend performances of Between Riverside and Crazy cancelled
*Santa Rosa: 6th Street Playhouse’s Sunday performance of Wait Until Dark cancelled.
*Sebastopol: Main Stage West’s Sunday performance of Boom cancelled.
Patrons of theatre companies still performing are encouraged to check the company’s web site and/or Facebook page for the latest on their show’s status before getting on the road.
Ticket holders to cancelled performances should contact the box office of the respective theatre.
