For the second year in a row, the North Bay’s Rohnert Park Library will be literary ground zero as more than 30 local authors, writers, journalists, playwrights and bloggers come together to meet the public, read their works, answer questions, plug books and other merchandise, and general hang out. Amongst the participants this year will be popular food writer Michele Anna Jordan, novelist-poet-storyteller Amanda McTigue, author-teacher Jonah Raskin, journalist-novelist Daedalus Howell, author Lilith Rogers, film journalist Gil Mansergh, and North Bay Stage and Screen’s David Templeton, who will be reading from his new novella ‘Mary Shelley’s Body’.
It’s a day long event, alternating author appearances with panels and other fun activities, and a number of vendors hawking various literary wares. It’s FREE, and looks to be a good way for local writers to meet their readers in a laid-back, easygoing pro-written-word atmosphere.
