  1. Oh, my goodness! LOVED your interview of Libby Oberlin and David L. Yen from the 6th Street Playhouse production of The Book of Will. You gave the details often and clearly as to how the audience could procure tickets, etc. My husband and I saw the production last night, Mar. 16th, and were so impressed not only w/ the acting from EACH actor, but also the sets, costumes, helpful volunteers, refreshments, parking, etc.! As you indicated, David L. Yen and his talented wife Denise Elia-Yen are actors we’ve appreciated for years here in Sonoma County – so happy when they became a couple and now performing together!! Loved your tale about Chris Schloemp at Montgomery High School. We have so many talented people who perform on our “boards!!” Truly, the care of and for one another was beautifully genuine in the “powerhouse ensemble,” as Libby stated. For her to choose her high school course focusing on Shakespeare rather than taking a Drivers Ed. course will always place her in our highest esteem of gratefulness. Who needs to parallel park anymore anyway??? The importance of David’s statement re teaching “Back Country Skills” to ensure that ‘just keep being a human’ is of the utmost importance in surviving these perilous/joyous times is critical. No doubt about it, “The Book of Will is a thrilling, cool play to come to,” as David said!
