“I am thrilled to be joining the 6th Street Playhouse family as the new Managing Director”, said Clark. “It is a joy to be a part of such a fantastic organization that is truly committed to excellence while serving the community with top notch programming, performances and the opportunity to come together for now, remotely. Now is a time for creatively connecting and I can’t wait to connect with the community in Santa Rosa and the rest of the 6th Street Playhouse patrons in Sonoma County. The future is indeed bright and we are keeping the light on for you!”
For the past 17 years, Ms. Clark has brought her experience in film, Broadway, national tours and regional theater in the Bay Area to her work both as a performer onstage and her work on staff for nonprofit theaters. Her credits include stints on Broadway as Penny in High Fidelity, Lou Anne in Hairspray, and touring as Miss Dorothy Brown in Thoroughly Modern Millie as well as playing the face character of Snow White at Disneyland. Ms. Clark comes to the Playhouse after a successful run as the Director of Education at Oakland-based Bay Area Children’s Theatre. With her own business, Rockabye Dance, she created movement programming for young children and managed all aspects of curriculum creation and implementation.
Ms. Clark began her new role with 6th Street Playhouse on September 21, 2020.
