Dave Pokorny Presents – the production company that also produces the popular monthly West Side Stories storytelling competition in Petaluma – has announced the roster of storytelling performers who will be attending this year’s Wine Country Spoken Word Fest, taking place Friday-Sunday, Oct. 19-21, at the Mystic Theatre and a number of other locations in downtown Petaluma.

The celebration of spoken word, in all its forms, had its first year last October, featuring some major names including Sara Vowell (‘The Incredibles’)

Headliners this year include:
Sociopolitical comedian W. Kamau Bell.
Appalachian storyteller Elizabeth Ellis.
Poet-performer Denice Frohman.
Award-winning solo performer Zahra Noorbakhsh.
And returning from last year:
Storyteller Bil Lepp.
Poet-actor Steve Connell.
